In the face of increasingly frequent natural disasters, epidemic, chemical, and terrorist threats, as well as a rapidly changing geopolitical situation, effective civil protection strategies are becoming a key element of security policy. The PROTEGA Fair will serve as a platform for exchanging experiences, presenting modern technological solutions, and discussing best practices in the prevention of and response to threats.

The first edition of the PROTEGA Civil Protection and Civil Defense Fair will take place on November 24–25, 2025, at the Poznań International Fair. It will be a key event for professionals involved in civil protection, civil defense, crisis management, and rescue services.
Fires, floods, hurricanes, chemical and environmental contamination, radiation incidents, epidemic and terrorist threats, construction and transport disasters, extreme heat and severe frost, or disruptions in the supply of utilities — these are only some of the threats that services responsible for civilian safety must be prepared for.
The aim of the PROTEGA Fair is to showcase the wide range of issues related to crisis management as well as civil protection and civil defense. Over the course of two days, products and services of critical importance will be presented for representatives of rescue services and governmental and local administrations, which bear the responsibility of ensuring citizens’ safety.
“Our priority is to spark a broad discussion about safety in emergency situations — whether caused by disasters and natural calamities or by human activity,” said Marcin Gorynia, Product Group Director at Grupa MTP. “We invite experts who save people’s health and lives every day, including representatives of services such as the fire brigade and emergency medical services, as well as representatives of government and local administrations responsible for guaranteeing security.”
The thematic scope of the PROTEGA Fair covers a wide range of issues, in particular:
- crisis management,
- civil protection and civil defense,
- rescue operations and medical assistance in crisis situations,
- systems for monitoring, warning, and alerting the population,
- communication and connectivity systems,
- collective protection facilities and their equipment,
- civil–military cooperation.
The exhibition will be divided into several key thematic areas, covering both threat prevention and rescue operations, as well as the use of modern technologies in crisis management systems. Exhibitors will present equipment for rescue services, innovative threat-monitoring systems, advanced tools supporting rescue operations, and communication and IT solutions used in crisis management centers.
“I hope that the PROTEGA Fair will become an important point on the map of events dedicated to security, civil protection, and civil defense in Poland, and even in Europe. I am convinced that substantive debates and panel discussions with experts in crisis management and security, as well as presentations of innovative solutions and modern rescue equipment, will make Poznań a place where safety is discussed not only at the local level, but above all at the national and European level,” said Dagmara Suprun, Director of the PROTEGA Fair.
The PROTEGA Civil Protection and Civil Defense Fair is a unique opportunity to establish cooperation between rescue services, the private sector, and public administration, to exchange experiences, and to learn about the latest technological achievements in the field of security.
