Before today’s meeting, Minister Wojciech Kolarski emphasized that this would be the only meeting General Kellogg will have in Europe with a head of state.
He stated that Andrzej Duda’s position on Ukraine’s future remains unchanged, saying: “Russia cannot win this war. After a peace agreement is reached, Russia must not have the impression that it was worth attacking an independent state without reason or justification.”
Deputy Head of the National Security Bureau (BBN), Mieszko Pawlak, highlighted the fact that “representatives of the U.S. administration come here to seek our opinion and understand our perspective.”
He emphasized: “Even the best intelligence agency briefing cannot compare to a one-and-a-half-hour face-to-face conversation with a leader who has been involved in these events from the very beginning—President Andrzej Duda.”
Last week, Polish President Andrzej Duda met with U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
