On Friday, November 14, 2025, Polish Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Bejda, responsible for overseeing the technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces, met with a delegation from the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea. The delegation was headed by Chong-Dae Won, Vice Minister for Military Resource Management.

During the talks, the parties discussed key issues related to regional security as well as the directions for further development of cooperation between the defense industries of both countries. They emphasized the importance of the Polish–Korean partnership in strengthening defense capabilities and stability in the region.
“Today’s meeting is another step in building lasting relations based on mutual trust and a shared commitment to enhancing defense potential,” the Ministry of National Defence stated in its communiqué.
Earlier this year, Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda met with the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Korea, Jie Won Park (July 28), the new Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Poland, H.E. Jun Jolu Tae (July 18), and the Vice Ministers of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), Guyheon Jeong (May 14) and Hyunki Cho (March 6).
