Hanwha at MSPO 2024

The South Korean companies Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Ocean, and Hanwha Systems, leaders in defense and advanced technologies, will showcase their solutions at the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce.

The South Korean companies Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Ocean, and Hanwha Systems, leaders in defense and advanced technologies, will showcase their solutions at the 32nd International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) at Targi Kielce from September 3 to 6 of this year.

Hanwha Aerospace: Advanced Land and Air Technologies

  • K9 Thunder: A self-propelled howitzer known for its firepower, maneuverability, and survivability in combat conditions. It is a key component of the artillery in many armies worldwide, including Poland.
  • Redback Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle: An innovative IFV designed for future battlefields, offering an unparalleled combination of protection, mobility, and technology.
  • Arion-SMET: A multi-purpose unmanned ground vehicle designed to support reconnaissance and logistical operations, enhancing battlefield efficiency.
  • TAipers (Tank Snipers): Innovative anti-tank systems designed for precise destruction of armored targets at long ranges, increasing the effectiveness of anti-tank units.

Hanwha Ocean: Maritime Innovations and Underwater Technologies

  • KSS-III Batch-II: The latest generation of submarines featuring advanced stealth technology and superior combat capabilities, designed to dominate in the maritime environment. The KSS-III is participating in the tender for submarine delivery to the Navy as part of the Polish Armed Forces modernization program, codenamed Orka.
  • CMS – Combat Management System: Developed in collaboration with Hanwha Systems. This will be the first presentation of this system in Poland.

Hanwha Systems: Advanced Electronic Systems and Hyperconnected Technologies

  • IVS (Integrated Vetronics System): A modern electronic integration system that acts as the “brain” of combat vehicles, managing weaponry, communication, and navigation systems. This system enhances operational capabilities on the battlefield by integrating advanced technologies into a single system.
  • Hyperconnected Solutions: Advanced communication systems that enable instant and secure data transmission across all platforms on land, sea, air, and space. These systems allow for seamless coordination and real-time response to dynamic changes on the battlefield.
  • Small SAR Satellite: Cutting-edge radar imaging technology that provides high-quality data regardless of weather conditions, ideal for strategic monitoring and reconnaissance.
