The RT20 turret systems produced by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace can be equipped with 30mm Bushmaster II automatic cannons. The ammunition load includes 150 rounds. The turret can also be fitted with a 7.62mm general-purpose machine gun and an anti-tank guided missile launcher.
For the United States Marine Corps, the procurement of ACV-30 wheeled infantry fighting vehicles represents a significant expansion of operational capabilities. Until now, the primary platform has been the tracked AAV7 amphibious vehicle, which can be armed with an M2 12.7mm heavy machine gun or Mk 19 40mm automatic grenade launchers.
