On Friday, 24 October 2025, another contract for FlyEye UAVs for the Polish Armed Forces was signed under the existing framework agreement. The subject of the new contract, concluded between the State Treasury – the Armament Agency and WB Electronics (part of the WB Group), is the delivery to the Polish Armed Forces of 13 sets of FlyEye Mini Unmanned Aerial Systems, along with technical documentation and repair, logistics, and training packages. The value of the contract is approximately 100 million PLN (gross).
Deliveries of the unmanned systems in the latest versions will be completed by the end of 2025. So far, under the ongoing framework agreement, 26 FlyEye UAV sets have been delivered, which will be integrated with the Topaz Automated Fire Control System (ZZKO Topaz).
On 5 September 2023, during the 31st International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce, a framework agreement was signed for the delivery of approximately 400 sets of FlyEye Mini Unmanned Aerial Systems.
The first contract for 7 sets was signed on 19 April 2024, the second on 4 September 2024 during the 32nd MSPO – for 6 sets, and the third on 15 November 2024 for 13 sets.
The delivery of the 7 sets from the April contract was completed on 3 December 2024, while 13 sets were accepted on 18 December 2024.
Additionally, on 24 December 2024, under a contract with the WB Group worth more than 499 million PLN for the delivery of Force Protection systems for conducting aerial reconnaissance and providing air protection for the operational area of Homar-K multiple rocket launcher battalions, several hundred additional FlyEye UAVs were ordered.
The FlyEye mini-class UAVs are designed to conduct aerial imagery intelligence using electro-optical payloads equipped with cameras capable of recording imagery both in daylight and with thermal imaging. The system has been successfully tested in the Polish Armed Forces, where it performs tasks for both the Operational Forces and the Territorial Defence Forces, as well as during wartime operations in Ukraine.
FlyEye is a high-wing aircraft with a wingspan of 3.6 m, a length of 1.8 m, and a take-off weight of 12 kg thanks to its composite structure. Powered by a single electric motor, it reaches speeds of 60–120 km/h, can operate at altitudes up to 3.5 km, and has a range of up to 50 km with a radio link or up to 300 km when the control station is relocated. The unmanned aircraft can remain airborne for more than 2.5 hours.
