Direct Action Curtiss — chest rig for a heavier caliber

The Curtiss is a hybrid chest rig-style tactical vest that combines three fixed pouches for magazines designed for .308 Winchester/7.62×51 NATO ammunition with a PALS mounting system and a modified harness.

Secure ammunition carrying

Magazines are secured in open pouches using elastic loops made of bungee cord.

Modularity and customization

The versatility of the vest is enhanced by PALS system cells, distributed on the sides, the carrying system, and the pouches themselves.

Modified harness system

The carrying system has been modified to better distribute weight, enhancing user comfort. This adjustment has improved the vest’s capabilities in terms of both load-bearing capacity and storage, further expanded by an additional internal pocket for flat items, secured with hook-and-loop.
