On Friday, 28 November 2025, the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense, announced the signing on 26 November of a framework agreement with a maximum value of 500,000,000 USD (1.824 billion PLN) with Cummins Power Generation Inc. for the production of 500 kW mobile power generators for Poland.

The agreement provides for the production and minor modifications of 500-kilowatt mobile power generators as part of support for the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program in Poland. The place of performance and funding will be determined for each individual task order.
Given the power rating and intended use, it is possible that the Polish Armed Forces are procuring MEPGS-1001 generators, which, together with the MEPGS-35001 units, were developed for the U.S. Department of Defense by Cummins Power Generation Inc. under a contract dated 7 November 2022 within the LTPS (Large Tactical Power System) program.
This is all the more likely because twelve such LTPS sets for each of the three-faced LTAMDS GhostEye AESA radars were included in Phase II of the Wisła air and missile defense program.
The aim of the LTPS program was to develop more mobile, reliable, and logistically simplified tactical power sources to support field operations. Since 2013, Cummins Power Generation Inc. has been developing and producing the AMMPS (Advanced Medium Mobile Power Sources) family of medium mobile generators ranging from 5 kW to 60 kW, as well as 800 kW airfield generators.
