On Thursday, 13 November 2025, the Polish Armaments Group and Frankenburg Technologies OÜ signed a cooperation agreement aimed at integrating and jointly offering advanced counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) and air-defense solutions. The partnership is intended to meet the growing demand for scalable, interoperable, and combat-proven effectors and systems.

Due to the urgent need to ensure operational superiority and strengthen NATO’s eastern flank, the cooperation will reinforce both companies’ commitment to countering and neutralizing the growing threat posed by Russian drones – particularly within the framework of the “drone wall” initiative led by regional partners.
“The Polish Armaments Group is expanding its air-defense capabilities in response to rapidly evolving threats. Cooperation with Frankenburg Technologies is doubly important for us — not only will we gain new competencies and a valuable partner, but we will also deepen our collaboration with Estonia. Given our shared geographic position, together we are strengthening NATO’s eastern flank,” said Arkadiusz Bąk, First Vice President of the Management Board of PGZ.
“We fully share Poland’s approach – prioritizing local projects that strengthen our industry while remaining open to European cooperation and joint defense initiatives. The integration of the ‘drone wall’ must begin now if we want to be ready in time,” added Kusti Salm, President of Frankenburg Technologies.
Under the agreement, PGZ and Frankenburg will focus on integrating Frankenburg’s missile systems with PGZ platforms, undertaking joint research and development initiatives and sharing expertise. The cooperation also envisions future operational integration of Frankenburg’s technologies with PGZ’s air-defense systems.
As part of the planning phase, both parties agreed to establish local production capabilities for up to 10,000 missile units per year, ensuring sustainable manufacturing and rapid replenishment of stockpiles.
This milestone represents a significant step forward in regional industrial cooperation — increasing local production capacity, securing the defense-sector supply chain, and fostering innovation through research- and development-based solutions. The partnership demonstrates how regional defense-industry cooperation can enhance regional security and technological sovereignty.
