On Friday, March 15th, in response to inquiries from the editorial team of MILMAG Military Magazine, the spokesperson of the Armament Agency, Lieutenant Colonel Grzegorz Polak, provided information about the bidders in the tender procedure for the supply of 130 Mobile Unmanned Reconnaissance Vehicles (MBPR), which commenced on January 29th of this year.

The subject includes 107 MBPR units with an option for 23 more . Market consultations on this matter were conducted last summer.
The deadline for submitting applications to participate in the tender procedure expired on March 4th of this year. According to the information sent, the applications were submitted by the following entities:
- Allies Incorporated Sp. z o. o.
- ŁUKASIEWICZ Research Network – Industrial Institute for Automation and Measurement PIAP
- IBKOL Sp. z o.o.,
- Chema Defence Systems Sp. z o.o. and Chema Sp. z o.o.,
- GMV Innovating Solutions Sp. z o.o. and MILREM AS.,
- ETRONIKA Sp. z o.o., SALUS Taktyka i Technika dla Bezpieczeństwa, and P. P. H. WObit E.J. Ober S.C.
According to the ordering party’s request, deliveries must start no later than January 2, 2025, and their implementation time cannot exceed 34 months.
The capabilities sought in MBPR should include ability to conduct reconnaissance in direct contact with troops, penetrate areas inaccessible to humans; transmit data from reconnaissance sensors through wireless audio and video data transmission to the operator’s console; operate in various terrains, including dirt roads, paved roads, off-road areas, as well as in open and urbanized terrain (overcoming obstacles such as rubble, thresholds, stairs, curbs); and the ability to open doors. The design of MBPR should allow for transportation in the troop compartments of military vehicles and being carried by a single soldier.
It is worth noting that on December 27, 2021, one of the bidders for the supply of MBPR, namely the ŁUKASIEWICZ Research Network – Industrial Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP, completed the delivery of 35 Mobile Reconnaissance Robots – Engineering Robot 1806 model.
