On Wednesday, 3 December 2025, Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Bejda, responsible for overseeing the technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Poland, H.E. Jun Jolu Tae, to discuss defense cooperation, including modernization programs.

The talks focused on the implementation of contracts for the delivery of Hyundai Rotem K2GF Heuk-Pyo (Black Panther) tanks, with particular emphasis on product Polishization (K2PL), technology transfer, and the development of maintenance capabilities. Issues related to the contract for the acquisition of the Homar-K multiple rocket launcher system (MRLS) were also discussed. The meeting highlighted the importance of Polish–Korean defense cooperation.
This was Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda’s second meeting with Ambassador J.E. Jun Jolu Tae – the first took place on July 18 of this year. Earlier, on June 25, Ambassador Jun Jolu Tae visited the headquarters of the Ministerstwo Aktywów Państwowych in Warsaw, where he met with Deputy Minister Konrad Gołota, who oversees State Treasury companies in the defense sector.
