On Monday, March 11th, Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów (ZMT), a part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), announced that another contract for the delivery of self-repeating sniper rifles MWS-25 in .308 WIN (7.62 mm x 51 NATO) caliber had been signed in the previous week.
The ZMT MWS-25 are modular rifles that perfectly meet the modern battlefield requirements. Their versatility, ability to work with sound suppressors, and adaptability to various conditions make them highly attractive to customers worldwide, states Paweł Handkiewicz, Sales Director.
The introduction of these rifles not only into Europe but also to the African market is a significant step for the ZMT, confirming the high quality of our products and advanced technology we offer. The technical specification, including the monolithic aluminum receiver, the short-stroke action with adjustable four-stage regulator, and the inclusion of safety levers on both sides and a folding stock, makes them highly competitive in the market. Offered rifles coming in various barrel lengths (from 13 to 20 inches) further enhance flexibility and customization while meeting individual customer preferences and requirements.
The ZMT offer covers an entire array of Modular Weapon Systems. In addition to the aforementioned construction, we also have the MWS-15 rifles chambered in the most popular intermediate ammunition, the 5.56 mm x 45 NATO, available in both semi-automatic and selective fire versions, as well as the MWS-38 semi-automatic rifle chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum ammunition. The operating principle, ergonomics, and modularity are the same for the entire Modular Weapon System.
