On Friday, September 1st, 2023, Polish Armaments Group (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, PGZ) announced that the Łucznik-Radom Arms Factory had signed a contract for the delivery of MSBS Grot assault rifles with one of the countries in Central-East Africa. The signed contract is the result of many years of cooperation between the PGZ Group and countries in Africa in the field of individual soldier equipment. In the future, the parties plan to expand cooperation to include additional equipment produced in Poland.
We are pleased that our partners have once again placed their trust in us by purchasing modern equipment produced in PGZ Group’s facilities. This is a reason for pride for us and at the same time a confirmation that our products represent the highest quality and meet the requirements of the modern battlefield. We are glad that cooperation in the field of modern armament systems also fits into the broader cooperation between Poland and Africa on economic and political levels, said Sebastian Chwałek, CEO of PGZ Group.
The previous contract for the delivery of MSBS Grot assault rifles to one of the countries in the region was concluded on May 19, 2022.
MSBS Grot rifles have also been delivered to the USA. In the summary of the activities of the Arms Factory in 2022, it was revealed that in the past year, the MSBS Grot C16 FB-A2 rifle was ultimately delivered to the US Special Operations Command (US SOCOM).
Furthermore, on March 16, 2023, Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak announced that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine placed an order to purchase MSBS Grot rifles (previously, this weapon had been sent to Ukraine as material aid from the Polish government in the full-scale war against Russia).
