On Monday, August 12, 2024, Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom, a part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), announced the reintroduction of a new, limited edition of the Ur/VIS knife, inspired by the Kb UR wz. 35 anti-tank rifle and the Vis wz. 35 pistol (translator’s note: the name read as a single word sounds the same as Polish word for “urchin”).

“We couldn’t ignore the expectations of our customers, who, right after the first edition of the knives sold out, flooded us with questions about whether they would be available again. So, we decided to create another edition, and we hope that enthusiasts of bladed weapons and our products will be satisfied with this decision, especially since these knives, as we emphasized many times when the first edition was released, are unique. I am convinced that just like the VIS wz. 35, which served as the inspiration for their creation, the Ur/VIS will one day become a highly sought-after item in the collection of every military enthusiast,” said Seweryn Figurski, CEO of FB Łucznik-Radom.
The first edition of the Ur/VIS knives sold out in no time. They are unique in many ways. They were created in collaboration with Forest Forge, a company specializing in hand-forged knives made from the highest quality steel. The Ur/VIS debuted at last year’s International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce and garnered significant interest. It will also be showcased at this year’s edition of MSPO (Ur/VIS – bladed weapon from FB Łucznik-Radom).
The knife was specially designed to incorporate the grip panels of the Vis wz. 35 pistol. It is characterized by elegance and a blend of traditional and modern design. The knife is packaged in a decorative box, which, in addition to the Ur/VIS, includes a Kydex sheath that allows the knife to be carried on a belt. Each knife comes with an individual certificate of authenticity and a unique serial number.
