Ur/ViS – bladed weapon from Fabryka Broni „Łucznik”-Radom

Limited series of knives Ur/VIS (read identically to the Polish word urwis, “Urchin”) made under the banner of the Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom has just entered the civilian market for sale. While it has nothing in common with an actual delinquent, it can still make a stir among enthusiasts of edged weapons, survivalists, collectors, and especially among shooters, particularly fans of the legendary VIS wz. 35.

The Ur/VIS is unique in many ways. It was created in collaboration with a company specializing in crafting hand-forged knives from the highest quality steel. It made its debut during last year’s 31st International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce and generated immense interest. Fabryka Broni received many inquiries about it.

That’s why we responded to our customers’ expectations. We’ve created a limited series of knives inspired by the legendary pistol. Ur/VIS has been specially designed to incorporate the grip panels of the VIS wz. 35 pistol. These knives represent a perfect blend of elegance, history, and modern design. Each one has been meticulously crafted to reflect the character of our legend, which truly has many fans, says Dr. Wojciech Arndt, President of the Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom

To emphasize its exclusivity, the knife is packaged in an ornate box, and in addition to the Ur/VIS, it includes a Kydex sheath for belt carry. An individual certificate of authenticity is also provided. Each knife has a unique serial number.

What piques the curiosity of those interested in the knife is not only its appearance but also its name.

It refers to two legendary Polish products, namely, the Kb UR Wz. 35 anti-tank rifle, which was a secret weapon designed for destroying tanks, and the VIS wz. 35 pistol, which served as the sidearm for Polish Army officers and cavalry before World War II, explains Seweryn Figurski, Member of the Board of Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom.

For more information about the knives, their availability, and purchasing options, please contact Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom. You can also find them on the company’s website (in Polish).

Additional information about the knife can also be found in the article: Ur/ViS od Forest Forge (in Polish).
