The NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegation was hosted in Poland for two days as part of the 106th edition of the Rose-Roth Seminar. The aim of the Seminar was to promote dialogue, support democratic values, parliamentary oversight, and to exchange experiences and best practices among NATO member states, partners, and associate countries. Fabryka Broni is the only defense industry facility that NATO PA representatives visited in Poland.
“The visit of the members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is a great honor for us and a testament to the significance of our facility in the national and European defense industry. It strengthens our belief that we are a key element of the national security system, which must function flawlessly, providing the highest quality equipment support,” said Seweryn Figurski, President of the Board of Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom.
The guests had the opportunity to view the modern machinery park, which has been built in recent years as part of the development of production capabilities and in response to increasing domestic and export orders.
“The past few years have been a time of intensive development for our company, aimed primarily at increasing the plant’s production capacity. We have completed the first stage – the purchase of machinery and equipment. Ahead of us is the expansion of the plant’s infrastructure, including the construction of a new office, production, and warehouse building,” summarized Jakub Czułba, Member of the Board of Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom.
The delegates also had the opportunity to view the weapons produced at the factory and test them in practice at the shooting range.
“We live in dynamic times, where the defense industry is experiencing growth, and our army, like others, is undergoing significant changes, including in terms of armament. The visit of the NATO PA representatives gives us the opportunity to show that we are ready for new challenges, have great production potential, and can compete with companies from around the world,” adds Daniel Wilk, Member of the Board of Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom.
The organization of this Seminar allowed members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly to become familiar with the Polish perspective and provided a better understanding of the challenges faced by countries located in the immediate vicinity of the armed conflict caused by Russian aggression on the territory of sovereign Ukraine.
