The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the procedure is March 21, 2025. The consultations will be conducted until April 30, 2025, and will cover, in particular:
- Assessment of whether the offered equipment meets the preliminary requirements;
- Specification of conditions related to the logistics support system, supply security, and training;
- Estimation of acquisition, operation, and decommissioning costs;
- Preliminary determination of acquisition timelines;
- Identification and analysis of risks in the acquisition process.
Interestingly, this is actually the second attempt to procure this type of equipment. On December 23, 2020, information was published about a tender procedure for the purchase of 165 sets. According to the tender documentation, the initially interested parties included: Megmar Logistics & Consulting, Siltec together with Ha3o Krzysztof Huras, Mildat, and PCO together with Adventure Lights Inc. However, by September 12, 2024, no final offer had been submitted, and five days later, the procedure was canceled.
According to the latest information, the Armament Agency is interested in acquiring Combat Identification Panels (CIP), Thermal Identification Panels (TIP), and Thermal Identification Beacons.
