MSPO 2024: Additional deliveries from Holsters HPE Poland for the Border Guard

The company Holsters HPE Poland, based in Kielce, announced during the 32nd International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO 2024 at Targi Kielce the delivery of additional personal protective equipment for officers to the Polish Border Guard Headquarters (KG SG).

According to the manufacturer’s information, the company delivered 250 sets of anti-riot gear along with anti-riot gloves and protective shields made of polycarbonate, custom-ordered by the Polish Border Guards Headquarters (KG SG) to meet specific shield dimensions.

Another successfully completed delivery within the set timeframe included 400 sets with 800 bulletproof plates, providing protection level PN-V-87000:2011 K4 in the Stand Alone version (not requiring a soft insert), weighing 2300 grams.

Both the anti-riot gear and the bulletproof plates were subject to production and certification oversight by ITB Moratex.

According to earlier information, Border Guard officers have been equipped with numerous personal protective items and ballistic shields in the form of vests with plates. Along with these, hand-held gas launchers were delivered, and based on experience, a new series called Border Control with a capacity of 650 ml was developed.

• Bulletproof vests – 500 units delivered this year,
• High-pressure gas launchers: 2000 ml – approx. 250 units and 6000 ml – approx. 100 units,
• Hand-held gas launchers 550 ml – approx. 2000 units already delivered this year,
• Bulletproof plates with protection level K4 according to PN-V-87000:2011 – 800 units.

The delivery of around 1000 High Cut bulletproof helmets is planned for November this year.
