Lubawa will supply the Polish military with demining and reconnaissance equipment

The 2nd Regional Logistics Base has signed a contract with Lubawa (part of the Lubawa Group) for the delivery of 200 sets of demining and reconnaissance equipment for the Polish Army.

On Monday, August 12, 2024, the 2nd Regional Logistics Base (2. RBLog.), named after Gen. August Emil Fieldorf, alias “Nil,” announced that on August 9, at the Base Command, the Commander of the 2nd Regional Logistics Base, Col. Artur Stopka, signed a contract for the delivery of 200 sets of combat engineer demining and reconnaissance equipment.

Lubawa S.A. (part of the Lubawa Group) has committed to delivering 200 sets of combat engineer demining and reconnaissance equipment for the Polish Armed Forces through the 2nd Regional Logistics Base in Warsaw between 2024 and 2027.

The acquired equipment will enhance defense capabilities, increase the safety of soldiers, and facilitate the operational activities of the Polish Army.

At the 29th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO 2021 in Kielce, the Lubawa Group presented a new set of combat engineer demining and reconnaissance equipment.

The combat engineer demining and reconnaissance equipment set is a comprehensive solution designed for carrying out engineering tasks in the field. It is suitable for use by engineering units throughout the year, in ambient temperatures ranging from -30°C to +50°C, in all weather conditions, and with relative humidity increased up to 100%. The end user actively participated in the development of the kit, and the product received positive feedback from the Military Institute of Engineering Technology (WITI).

The kit includes over 130 components, among which are the following:

  • Mine detector module with a set of mine-detection prodders with spikes
  • Anchor module with a cord, reel, pulley, a carabiner and a shredder
  • Commander’s module with handheld GPS, waterproof notebook, rangefinder, compass and dermatograph
  • 100 m and 20 m measuring tape modules with reels, pins, carabiners and cases
  • Marking module with flag stands and hangers
  • Additional equipment: 45 l engineer backpack, flashlight, megaphone, mine tape warnings, tripod with head, inspection mirror and many more.
