During the 32nd International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO 2024 at Targi Kielce, scheduled for September 3-6 this year, the Development and Implementation Center Telesystem-Mesko, specializing in R&D and production for the defense industry, presented the Integrated Optoelectronic Support Environment for the Modern Battlefield (LRF/IFF/FSO/LWS). The system was developed in collaboration with the Institute of Optoelectronics of the Military University of Technology (Wojskowa Akademia Techniczna, WAT).

The Integrated Support System for the Modern Battlefield includes:
- Laser Warning System (LWS),
- Laser Rangefinder (LRF),
- Free-Space Optical Communication – data and voice transmission (FSO),
- Identification Friend or Foe system (IFF).
All functionalities have been implemented in two components: the laser rangefinder – for distance measurement, laser data transmission, and the IFF system interrogator function, and the OBRA++ warning system – for detecting and determining the direction of the laser radiation source, receiving data, and serving as the optical transponder for the IFF system.
Tactical and technical parameters of the laser rangefinders:
- VDT-LRF-S: range 2.6 – 3.5 km*
- VDT-LRF-M: range 3.9 – 7 km*
- VDT-LRF-ER: range 15 – 28 km*
*NATO Target – Extended Target
The system has been nominated for the DEFENDER award.
