The company Concept from Bielsko-Biała, together with Mercedes, MASKPOL, and WB Group, has unveiled the latest proposal for a lightweight, highly off-road capable vehicle. The new platform is based on the off-road Mercedes 463 with an extended cabin. The 4×4 vehicle is equipped with a six-cylinder engine and a modified electrical system, enabling the installation of lightweight remotely controlled weapon systems and advanced communication systems. A detailed discussion of the vehicle’s specifications and an off-road demonstration can be found in the video below:
The new vehicle can be offered with a permissible gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 3.5 tons or higher (4.9 tons). This allows for armor capable of protecting against small-caliber projectiles or specialized configurations, such as assault ramps used by both Special Forces commandos and counterterrorism unit officers.
