On Monday, July 7, 2025, Deputy Minister of National Defense Paweł Bejda, responsible for overseeing the technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces, visited the Central Air Force Training Range (CPSP) in Ustka, where he observed tests of modern counter-drone systems. The visit provided an opportunity to become acquainted with the latest technological solutions in air defense and counter-drone capabilities.

The growing threat posed by unmanned aerial vehicles makes investment in effective drone detection, tracking, and neutralization systems crucial for modern armed forces. Deputy Minister Bejda had the opportunity to observe the operation of various counter-drone platforms and to learn about the development potential of this type of technology.
Following the demonstrations at the training range, Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda traveled to Słupsk to visit the 7th Coastal Defense Brigade. During a meeting at the brigade’s headquarters, the unit’s tasks, structure, and current equipment were discussed. Particular attention was given to the brigade’s role within the coastal defense system, its operational capabilities, and its readiness to respond to various threat scenarios. The Deputy Minister also had the opportunity to view the brigade’s equipment and learn about its current needs.
At the conclusion of the visit, in the Hall of Tradition of the 7th Coastal Defense Brigade, the Deputy Minister was introduced to the unit’s rich history, its achievements, and contributions to national defense. The visit also provided an opportunity for direct conversations with soldiers and commanders, allowing the Deputy Minister to gain firsthand insight into the challenges they face in their daily service.
