Now in its 3rd year, the European Defence Industry Summit will focus on the critical defence areas such as the European Defence Union, the EU-NATO dialogue and transatlantic defence cooperation, investments in cutting-edge defence technology and equipment, cybersecurity technology as well as the European Defence Fund.

From 2021, the European Defence Fund will seek to foster innovation and competitiveness for the defence industry and ensure the EU’s strategic autonomy. The European Defence Industry Summit (EDIS) comes at the right moment to stimulate further discussion on this key issue for Europe.
With the new European Commission appointed, the European Defence strategy will be high on the EU agenda, it is the best time to stimulate further discussion on how to strengthen the successful cooperation among the Member States.
