On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on social media that further strikes had been carried out against targets in the Russian Federation and in the occupied territories of Ukraine, including both petrochemical facilities and military sites.

During the night of July 28–29, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important enemy targets as part of efforts to reduce the Russian aggressor’s military and economic potential.
The Ryazan Oil Refinery in Russia’s Ryazan region was damaged. A strike on the facility was recorded, followed by a fire on the company’s premises. The Ryazan refinery is one of the largest oil-processing facilities in the Russian Federation, with an annual capacity of approximately 17 million tonnes of crude oil. It produces automotive gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and other petroleum products used, among other purposes, by Russia’s military-industrial complex and armed forces.
The Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez Oil Refinery in Perm, Russia’s Perm region, was also struck. It processes more than 13 million tonnes of crude oil annually and produces a wide range of products, including high-quality gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and lubricants. The facility is a key industrial site in the region and one of the most technologically advanced in the country, supplying fuel to both the domestic and export markets.
A Russian Black Sea Fleet fast-boat base near Mezhvodnoye, in the Yevpatoria area of the western part of the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, was also attacked. The facility is used for the maintenance and support of fast boats involved in patrol operations, coastal protection, logistics support, and other missions conducted on behalf of the Russian occupation forces.
An unspecified radar station near the town of Pochep in Russia’s Bryansk region was also damaged.
In addition, Ukrainian forces struck a storage, preparation, and launch site for strike unmanned aircraft in Donetsk, a logistics depot in Portovske, and a road bridge near Vyselky in the occupied Donetsk region that Russian forces use for military logistics.

Another logistics center operated by the Russian company Wildberries was also attacked: the Ryazan Tyushevskaya facility, located in the Ryazan Industrial Park near the village of Tyushevo.

„We have new results from our long-range sanctions targeting Russian facilities that work to support and prolong the war. An oil refinery and logistics center in Ryazan were hit. The distance from the Ukrainian border is about 360 kilometers. A site where the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s high-speed boats are based in our temporarily occupied Crimea was also hit. Long-range sanctions were also carried out against an oil refinery in the Perm region, as well as an export terminal and a military enterprise in the Rostov region. I thank our warriors for their precision, and I thank everyone who makes these long-range results possible. Russia must feel that every day of this war will only come at a higher cost for it. We need to weaken the aggressor and keep up the pressure to bring an end to this war closer.”
