The exhibition will also serve as the centerpiece of the „We Produce Your Security. In Polish Factories” campaign. PGZ wants to demonstrate that the equipment on display is backed by Polish factories, design offices, laboratories, research and development centers and, above all, the people working to strengthen national security. The Group’s presence in Kielce will be used to present PGZ as the leader of the Polish defense industry, an integrator of domestic industrial capabilities and a trusted partner of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.
„This year’s MSPO will present Polish Armaments Group as an organization firmly rooted in the experience, industrial traditions and proven capabilities of its companies, while at the same time consistently developing technologies of the future. We remain a key manufacturer of heavy equipment for the Polish Armed Forces, but in parallel we are investing in unmanned systems, electronics, counter-drone solutions, satellite technologies and new capabilities in weapons and ammunition. We want to permanently strengthen PGZ’s position and anchor in Poland the capabilities, production capacity and supply chains that will determine national security in the decades ahead. We are integrating the potential of our companies, expanding domestic production capacity and involving Polish enterprises, research institutions and technology partners more broadly in our cooperation — said Adam Leszkiewicz, President of the Management Board of PGZ. SAFE creates a historic opportunity to accelerate the development of the Polish defense industry. We want to seize this opportunity in line with the local-content principle so that investments translate into the development of domestic plants, technologies, capabilities, jobs and local communities. Polish Armaments Group is ready to act as an integrator and promoter of the entire Polish defense potential” – Adam Leszkiewicz added.
PGZ as an integrated industrial group
The PGZ display will be organized for the first time in line with the Group’s domain-based management model. Visitors will be able to explore the offerings of companies operating within seven domains: Armored Vehicles and Artillery, Wheeled Platforms and Vehicles, Ammunition and Missile Technology, Air, Soldier and Uniformed Services Equipment, Naval, and Electronics and Air Defense Systems (Polish Armaments Group restructured).
The domains are intended to consolidate responsibility for entire product families, from research and development, through investment and production, to sales and financial performance. The new organization is expected to improve coordination of projects involving several companies, reduce duplication of work and enable more efficient use of shared resources.
MSPO will provide a unique opportunity to present this change to partners, customers and the public. Instead of a collection of separate company displays, PGZ will present seven interconnected areas of expertise and a common offering covering products, servicing, modernization and support throughout the entire service life of equipment and weapons systems. The domain-based model will allow the Group to better combine the traditional capabilities of individual plants with new technologies and solutions developed jointly by several companies. In this way, PGZ aims to shorten the path from design and technology demonstrator to series production, respond more efficiently to military requirements and increase its ability to rapidly scale up production in a crisis.
Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle debut
The most important premiere at this year’s MSPO will be the full-scale technology demonstrator of the Ratel Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle, developed by Huta Stalowa Wola.
At the previous edition of MSPO, the project was presented as a 1:4 scale model. This year, PGZ will showcase a full-scale vehicle, illustrating the pace of the development work and the growth of domestic capabilities in the design and production of modern armored platforms. The Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle combines Huta Stalowa Wola’s experience in designing heavy military equipment with solutions tailored to the requirements of the future battlefield.

The Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle is a comprehensive system designed for combat operations on the modern battlefield. The CBWP is based on three key principles: high firepower, maximum protection for the crew and dismounted troops, and high tactical mobility. The vehicle is intended to transport, protect and provide fire support to mechanized infantry units, including in difficult terrain and demanding climatic conditions. Thanks to advanced observation and targeting systems, it can effectively detect and engage threats before they can directly affect friendly forces.
The Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle uses an extended tracked chassis and an 800 kW powerpack, providing a top speed of up to 65 km/h and a range of up to 500 km. The vehicle retains a high ability to negotiate terrain obstacles and operate in demanding operational environments. The CBWP provides maximum protection for the crew and dismounted troops. Its design incorporates advanced ballistic and mine protection solutions compliant with stringent STANAG standards. The protection suite can be supplemented by an optional Active Protection System (APS), capable of defeating incoming projectiles and missiles. The vehicle is also equipped with laser warning modules such as OBRA-3, integrated with smoke grenade launchers, as well as an NBC protection system with an efficient filtration and ventilation system. Additional protection is provided by specialized mine-resistant seats designed to reduce the effects of underbody explosions.
The vehicle is armed with the unmanned ZSSW-30 turret equipped with a 30 mm cannon, Spike anti-tank guided missiles and programmable ABM ammunition. This configuration provides effective engagement of both ground and aerial targets and enables precise fire by day and night. The vehicle accommodates a three-person crew and six to eight dismounted soldiers. An auxiliary power unit (APU) allows independent power supply to onboard systems, increasing operational efficiency and future growth potential. To reduce costs and simplify logistics, a number of components common with the Borsuk IFV have been used, while the modular design allows for future upgrades. The technology demonstrator to be presented at MSPO 2026 will form the basis for development of the final prototype of a new-generation heavy IFV, with further work to include powerpack integration and comprehensive durability and reliability testing.
The CBWP to be presented at MSPO 2026 is an advanced technology demonstrator that will serve as the foundation for a new generation of heavy combat vehicles. It provides tangible evidence of the direction in which Polish engineering in the land systems domain is developing. The project is now entering a key phase, involving advanced analytical and computational work intended to transform the concept into a fully developed prototype. The priority in the next stages will be full integration of the powerpack and a series of rigorous tests under real-world conditions. Particular emphasis will be placed on full-scale testing of armor resistance and mine-protection systems, with the aim of delivering a final product offering an uncompromising level of protection and capable of performing the most demanding missions on the modern battlefield.

Technologies for maritime security and critical infrastructure
Building PGZ’s position in the space sector
The space sector is one of the prospective areas of development for the Polish Armaments Group. Satellite technologies are becoming increasingly important for reconnaissance, surveillance, communications, situational awareness and national security. PGZ intends to expand cooperation with domestic and international partners so that, in the future, the Group’s capabilities will encompass solutions operating across the main orbital regimes, from LEO through MEO to GEO. The Group’s ambition is to gradually build its position in the space sector by combining its existing capabilities in electronics, reconnaissance, command systems and critical infrastructure protection with new satellite capabilities. One of the companies with which cooperation is being developed is ICEYE. During MSPO, OBR CTM will present a satellite project being carried out jointly with the company.
SAFE, local content and development of domestic production capabilities
This year’s MSPO will provide an opportunity to present the role of the Polish Armaments Group in projects related to the European SAFE instrument. The program could accelerate the modernization of the Polish Armed Forces and increase the scale of investment in Polish plants, technological capabilities and production capacity. From PGZ’s perspective, European funding should be used to build capabilities that will remain in Poland even after individual procurement programs are completed. This includes expanding infrastructure and production capacity, technology transfer, developing research and development facilities, and creating resilient supply chains involving Polish companies.
An important element of this strategy is local content, understood not only as the participation of domestic plants in equipment production, but also as the ability to service, modernize and further develop that equipment throughout its entire lifecycle. Increasing the involvement of Polish companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, research institutions and subcontractors strengthens security of supply, technological sovereignty and national resilience. It also helps create lasting capabilities that can form the basis for future projects and joint offers for export markets. PGZ intends to use SAFE not only to fulfill current orders, but above all to permanently strengthen the Polish defense industry, increase its scale and anchor strategic production capabilities in the country.

Planned directions for contracts, agreements and industrial cooperation
The documents to be signed during MSPO will not merely constitute a series of separate contracts, agreements and letters of intent. Their common denominator will be a vision for the future of the Polish Armaments Group and the entire domestic defense industry.
PGZ is moving from the stage of rebuilding basic capabilities toward their long-term strengthening, development and anchoring in Poland. The objective is to build the Group’s position in line with the new realities of the Polish and European defense markets and to ensure that strategic industrial capabilities remain in the country for decades to come. Planned cooperation is intended to increase the participation of domestic companies in defense programs, build Polish supply chains and gradually replace components previously imported from abroad with solutions manufactured in Poland.
One of the key areas remains the further expansion of the domestic industrial base in energetic materials, propellants, ammunition components and munitions. The objective is to improve security of supply and reduce dependence on external sources in the most critical areas of weapons production.
PGZ is also expanding cooperation with foreign partners possessing technologies and experience capable of accelerating the development of industrial capabilities in Poland. The Group is focusing on partnerships that go beyond a simple supplier-customer relationship and instead lead to technology transfer, joint projects, capability development and the launch of domestic production.
Polonization is intended to cover not only final equipment assembly, but also an increasingly large share of components, subsystems, materials, software and services associated with the entire product lifecycle. This approach is intended to strengthen security of supply, national resilience and the domestic economy, while also increasing Poland’s ability to independently service, modernize and further develop military equipment.
MSPO will also provide an opportunity for discussions on developing joint export offerings with European partners and entities from other regions of the world. The objective is not only to sell individual products, but also to create comprehensive solutions combining the capabilities of several industrial partners.
Projects offering the prospect of long-term industrial, research-and-development and production cooperation are of particular importance. PGZ aims to build relationships that will strengthen the Group’s position in future markets, increase the potential of the entire Polish defense industry and improve its competitiveness internationally.
