On Friday, September 11, 2026, the final day of the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO 2026) at Targi Kielce, WB Group signed agreements with four Canadian companies: WESCAM, Robotics Centre, Rosborough Boats and CAE. They cover unmanned systems, training solutions, maritime technologies and prospects for local production. This marks another step in the development of Polish-Canadian industrial cooperation in the defense sector.

The agreements signed during MSPO cover a broad range of cooperation — from the integration of advanced observation technologies and unmanned systems, through training solutions, to maritime technologies and the potential development of local production capabilities.
One of WB Group’s key partners is WESCAM, a Canadian company specializing in advanced electro-optical and surveillance systems used on aerial, land and maritime platforms. The cooperation provides for the integration of MX-series electro-optical sensor systems with WB Group’s reconnaissance and strike systems. The jointly developed solutions are intended to meet the requirements of both the Polish and Canadian armed forces.
Another agreement was signed with Robotics Centre, a Canadian company active in robotics and unmanned systems. The cooperation is intended to support the development and use of autonomous and remotely controlled platforms, reflecting the growing importance of unmanned technologies on the modern battlefield.
Rosborough Boats has also become a partner of WB Group. The Canadian company specializes in the design and production of vessels intended, among other applications, for uniformed services, the security sector and specialized missions. The agreement opens opportunities for cooperation in maritime systems and the integration of modern technologies with waterborne platforms.
The fourth partner is CAE, a Canadian company specializing, among other areas, in training, simulation and instructional solutions for the defense and aviation sectors. Cooperation with WB Group covers areas related to preparing users to operate modern systems and developing advanced training capabilities.
Canada becoming an increasingly important partner for the Polish defense industry
Canada is one of the markets where interest in Polish technological expertise and solutions developed by the domestic defense industry is clearly growing. This year’s International Defence Industry Exhibition, at which Canada served as the Lead Nation, created particularly favorable conditions for deepening cooperation between companies from both countries.
The four agreements concluded by WB Group show that these relations go beyond the sale of finished products and also encompass technology integration, joint development of solutions, local production and the establishment of long-term industrial partnerships.
The signing ceremonies were attended by Victor Fedeli, Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, and Emmanuelle Lamoureux, Ambassador of Canada to Poland. Their presence underscored the significance of the developing Polish-Canadian cooperation and the role of MSPO as a venue for establishing international partnerships in the security and defense sector.
