The “Proud Veteran” distinction is awarded to organizations demonstrating particular commitment to supporting the Polish veteran community. Hanwha Aerospace Europe cooperates with the Association, supporting its statutory activities and initiatives addressed to veterans and their families, including events that bring the community together and honor Polish soldiers who have served abroad (Hanwha and the Land Forces Military Academy Complete the Next Stage of the Global Challenger Program).
“This distinction is of particular significance to us. Supporting the veteran community is an important element of Hanwha Aerospace’s long-term social commitment. The opportunity to recognize those who have devoted themselves to serving the country’s security is both a privilege and an honor for us” – said Jacek Cyrek, President of the Management Board of Hanwha Aerospace Europe.
Following the ceremony, Stanisław Wziątek and Tomasz Kloc visited the Hanwha Aerospace booth. During the meeting, Jacek Cyrek presented the solutions showcased by the company at this year’s MSPO and outlined plans for the further development of cooperation with Polish industry.
Hanwha Aerospace Europe’s social engagement complements its growing industrial and technological cooperation in Poland. The company participates in modernization programs of the Polish Armed Forces involving, among others, the K9A1/PL Thunder and K239 Chunmoo/Homar-K systems, while at the same time developing relations with Polish industry and research and development institutions.
