CONCEPT vehicle family based on the Mercedes-Benz G350d
The broadest group of new products consists of vehicles based on the Mercedes-Benz G350d platform. CONCEPT has developed a light patrol vehicle, a lightly armored variant, a more heavily armored combat vehicle, and a specialized medical ambulance (Concept unveils new Mercedes G350 for special tasks).
The Mercedes-Benz G350d BA6 light patrol vehicle is based on the five-door 464.300 body and accommodates a four-person crew. It is powered by a 2.925-liter six-cylinder diesel engine producing 183 kW (249 hp) and a maximum torque of 600 Nm. The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and permanent 4×4 drive with a low-range gearbox and differential locks. The vehicle has a curb weight of approximately 2,500 kg, a payload of around 1,000 kg, and can tow a trailer weighing up to 3,500 kg. Maximum speed is 160 km/h, while range is at least 500 km, or 600 km with the 96-liter fuel tank.
The lightly armored variant retains the same powerplant and basic chassis configuration, but its crew compartment is protected to B4 level under EN 1063 against 9 mm Parabellum and 7.62×25 mm TT ammunition. The floor provides Level 1 mine protection in accordance with STANAG 4569 Annex B. The increased protection raises curb weight to approximately 2,900 kg and reduces payload to around 600 kg.
The Concept G350d light armored combat vehicle goes significantly further. This variant uses a body accommodating four or six soldiers and provides B6-level protection under EN 1063, together with Level 1 mine protection in accordance with STANAG 4569 Annex B. Gross vehicle weight ranges from 4,900 to 5,500 kg, with payload between 800 and 1,500 kg. The vehicle can reach a top speed of 140 km/h and has a range of 600 km. It can be equipped, among other things, with a 360° ring mount for 5.56, 7.62 and 12.7 mm machine guns or a 40 mm grenade launcher, a remotely controlled weapon station, RF reconnaissance systems, optoelectronic sensor heads, counter-UAS and jamming systems, as well as reconnaissance and combat unmanned aerial vehicles (Concept presents the Mercedes 463 for Special Forces).
The Concept G350d medical ambulance belongs to the same vehicle family. It features a two-person cab and a containerized medical module designed to carry four casualties on stretchers and two medics. The stretchers, compliant with STANAG 2040/3204, are equipped with a loading assistance system, while folding the upper mounts allows casualties to be transported in a seated position. The medical module has independent heating, air conditioning, interior and exterior lighting, and a separate compartment for medical equipment; optionally, it can also be fitted with a filtration and ventilation system and fragmentation protection. The ambulance has a gross vehicle weight of 5,500 kg, a payload of 1,500 kg, a maximum speed of 120 km/h and a range of 600 km.
CONCEPT Wirus-L – light combat vehicle
The second new product prepared by CONCEPT is the Wirus-L light combat vehicle. The design is powered by a four-cylinder 2,442 cm³ MMC 4N16 turbodiesel engine producing 135 kW (180 hp) and a maximum torque of 430 Nm. Power is transmitted through a six-speed automatic transmission to a selectable 4×2/4×4 drivetrain with a low-range gearbox and differential locks.
The Wirus-L has a gross vehicle weight of 3,500 kg, a curb weight of approximately 2,500 kg and a payload of around 1,000 kg. Configurations for four or six occupants are planned. The roof is adapted for installation of a light ring mount with a gunner’s position. The available armament includes, among other options, 5.56, 7.62 and 12.7 mm machine guns, a 40 mm grenade launcher, remotely controlled weapon stations, RF and optoelectronic reconnaissance systems, counter-UAS solutions, jamming systems, as well as reconnaissance and combat drones. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 140 km/h and a range of at least 500 km.
CONCEPT mobile power station with 80 kWh energy storage system
The display will be complemented by a mobile power station integrated with a single-axle trailer with a gross vehicle weight of 1,800 kg. Its core component is an 80 kWh energy storage system capable of supplying loads with 400 V and 230/240 V AC power, as well as 14 V and 28 V DC. The station is also equipped with a portable, silenced 3 kW inverter generator intended for emergency charging or power supply.
The system can operate as a mobile power source for military units, electric vehicles, motorcycles and ATVs, tethered unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with reconnaissance payloads, and radar systems. The station has a curb weight of 1,500 kg, while a full charge of the battery pack takes approximately 12 hours. CONCEPT also envisages a larger, twin-axle version with a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 t.
CONCEPT for Special Forces and light infantry
The solutions presented at MSPO 2026 illustrate the direction in which CONCEPT is developing its portfolio — from light patrol and combat vehicles, through specialized armored and medical variants, to mobile power support systems. Their common features are modularity and the ability to tailor configurations to specific user requirements, including the integration of communications, weapons, sensors and counter-UAS systems.

The configuration of the vehicles also indicates their potential users — light infantry, reconnaissance units and Special Forces. Despite using commercially available chassis, CONCEPT places strong emphasis on ensuring high off-road mobility and durability. As with the Żmija long-range reconnaissance vehicles, the new platforms are extensively modified at the company’s facility in Bielsko-Biała so that they can serve as a basis for meeting precisely defined customer requirements. CONCEPT’s vehicles are intended to fill the gap between standard light 4×4 vehicles used without any modifications and specialized armored personnel carriers.
