MILMAG's Interview
1. Why are Poland and Central and Eastern Europe strategically important for Meteksan Defence?
Poland and Central and Eastern Europe are becoming increasingly important in the evolving European security landscape. We see growing demand for advanced capabilities in areas such as radar, counter-UAS, electronic warfare and resilient communications.
For Meteksan Defence, this is not simply about entering a new market. Our ambition is to become a long-term technology and industrial partner for countries and companies across the region, bringing our proven technologies and engineering capabilities to Europe’s evolving defence needs.
2. How is Meteksan Defence responding to the new generation of threats facing modern armed forces?
The modern battlefield is becoming increasingly complex, with threats emerging across multiple domains. Detection, protection and rapid response need to work together.
Our approach is therefore based on integrated capabilities. From Retinar surveillance and drone detection radars and KAPAN Counter-UAS systems to AGNOSIS anti-jamming GNSS technology and MILSAR airborne surveillance radar, we develop solutions designed to address different operational requirements.
We believe the real advantage comes from integrating these technologies to provide faster, more reliable situational awareness and decision-making.
3. What kind of partnerships is Meteksan Defence looking to build in Europe?
We are looking beyond product exports. We want to build sustainable partnerships based on mutual capabilities and long-term cooperation.
This could include system integration, local industrial cooperation, joint R&D, technology collaboration and lifecycle support. Poland has a strong and growing defence ecosystem, and we see significant potential to combine Polish industrial capabilities with Meteksan’s technology and engineering expertise.
Our message at MSPO is simple: we are here not only to sell solutions, but to build long-term partnerships.
