Development of capabilities for FA-50 aircraft engine maintenance
Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze No. 2 and GE Aerospace signed an agreement to explore the development of capabilities for the maintenance, repair, inspection and depot-level support of F404-GE-102 engines (WZL-2 and GE Aerospace in talks on engines for the FA-50).

Engines of this type power the KAI FA-50 Fighting Eagle aircraft operated by the Polish Air Force. The potential cooperation is intended to develop capabilities for maintaining these engines and to establish appropriate support infrastructure in Poland.
Developing domestic maintenance capabilities increases operational security, shortens the technical support chain and reduces dependence on services performed outside the country.

PGZ and Saab to explore cooperation in the AEW&C domain
The Polish Armaments Group and Saab signed a document expressing their intention to explore potential areas of cooperation related to Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) systems (Poland joins NATO initiatives for joint transport and early warning fleets).

Systems of this type enable the detection and tracking of objects in the airspace, support command and control, and enhance situational awareness. They are an important element of modern air defense systems and the management of operations conducted in the air domain.
The aim of the cooperation will be to identify areas in which the capabilities of PGZ Group companies can be utilized in projects related to the development, integration, production or maintenance of such systems.
PGZ and MKE: cooperation on air defense systems
The Polish Armaments Group and Turkish company Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi A.Ş. (MKE) signed an agreement concerning cooperation in the field of short- and very-short-range air defense systems. The cooperation will be developed with the needs of the Polish and Turkish markets in mind, as well as the possibility of jointly offering solutions to potential export customers (Polish Armaments Group continues talks with Turkish MKE).
The agreement is the result of discussions initiated during an industry meeting held alongside the NATO Summit in Ankara. The next stage involved working-level consultations in Warsaw, during which the parties agreed on the key assumptions for future cooperation.
Cooperation between PGZ and MKE is intended to combine the capabilities of both companies in one of the most important areas of modern security. Short- and very-short-range air defense systems are particularly important for protecting troops, civilian populations and infrastructure against unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles and other airborne threats.
The signing ceremony was attended by Konrad Gołota, Undersecretary of State at the Polish Ministry of State Assets, and Musa Heybet, Deputy Minister of National Defence of Turkey.

Cooperation between PGZ Group companies and the Łukasiewicz Research Network
On the third day of MSPO, a package of documents was also signed between companies of the Polish Armaments Group and institutes belonging to the Łukasiewicz Research Network. The agreements cover projects related to aircraft power supply, pyrotechnic materials, and production technology for key rocket propellant components.
Cooperation between industry and the domestic research and development base is intended to accelerate the implementation of new technologies, increase the production independence of the Polish defense sector, and enable the development of solutions tailored to the needs of the Polish Armed Forces.
Air-Power system for military and civilian aircraft
The Military Central Bureau of Design and Technology (WCBKT) and the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Electrical Engineering signed an agreement concerning cooperation on the Bidirectional Power Supply System for Civilian and Military Aircraft, Air-Power project.
The aim of the undertaking is to develop a solution enabling bidirectional power supply for aircraft. The project is intended to combine WCBKT’s experience in ground support equipment for aviation with the research and technological capabilities of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Electrical Engineering.
Dezamet and Łukasiewicz – Institute of Organic Industry
Zakłady Metalowe Dezamet and the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Organic Industry signed an agreement concerning the transfer of documentation related to the production of pyrotechnic materials.
The cooperation is intended to enable the use of the knowledge and experience of both entities in developing domestic capabilities in materials used in ammunition and munitions.
Polish technology for ammonium perchlorate production
Zakłady Chemiczne Nitro-Chem and the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Organic Industry signed an agreement concerning the development and implementation of an innovative Polish technology for the production of ammonium perchlorate.
Ammonium perchlorate is one of the key components of modern solid rocket propellants. Developing a domestic production technology is of major importance for supply chain security, technological independence and the expansion of national capabilities in rocket technology.
The project forms part of PGZ’s efforts to develop domestic production of critical materials and components whose availability is essential for the manufacture of complete weapon systems.
Visit of the Minister of Finance and Economy to the PGZ booth
On the third day of MSPO, the Polish Armaments Group booth was visited by Andrzej Domański, Minister of Finance and Economy. During the visit, he familiarized himself with the products presented by the Group, its key industrial projects and the capabilities being developed by PGZ companies.
The visit also provided an opportunity to present the role of the domestic defense industry in implementing modernization programs, developing Polish technologies and expanding production capabilities in Poland.

“Veteran’s Diary”: authentic stories of Polish soldiers
During the third day of the exhibition, the “Veteran’s Diary” project was also formally summarized.
The aim of the project was to give Polish veterans of overseas missions a voice and present their experiences in an authentic, personal and understated manner. The project took the form of a series of podcasts and interviews in which mission participants spoke about their service, their experiences during deployments abroad, their return to Poland, and the impact of military service on their private and professional lives.
The initiative is intended to preserve the memory of veterans’ experiences, foster public respect for military service, and promote a better understanding of the challenges soldiers face both during missions and after returning home.

The defense industry strengthens Poland’s regions
The PGZ stage program also included the debate „A Secure Poland, Strong Regions: How the Defense Industry Drives Local Development„, devoted to the importance of defense industry facilities for local economies. The discussion focused on job creation, workforce development and technical education, the development of regional supply chains, and cooperation between industry, local governments and local businesses. The participants also discussed how defense investments strengthen the economic potential of individual regions, expand the country’s production capabilities and contribute to building national resilience.
The documents signed on the third day of the exhibition, the debate on regional development and the visit of the Minister of Finance to the PGZ booth highlighted different dimensions of the Polish Armaments Group’s development: from building maintenance and support capabilities for modern aviation, through cooperation on early warning and air defense systems, to the development of domestic technologies for ammunition and rocket propellants. Their common denominator is the expansion of the Polish defense industry’s capabilities, closer cooperation with domestic and international partners, and the permanent anchoring of production, technology and maintenance capabilities in Poland.
