On 3rd March representative of Bell contacted with MILMAG Defense&Space in order to comment recent claims made by Yuriy Gusev, General Director of Ukroboronprom State Conern, according to whom the American company was to license the Ukrainian partner to produce UH-1 Huey helicopters for the Ukrainian armed forces.

‘While Bell and Textron Inc. have not licensed Ukroboronprom or any other company in Ukraine to produce the Huey at this time, we remain ready to support and provide capabilities internationally to nations who have active Letters of Request (LOR’s) submitted through the United States Government for helicopter fleet modernization programs’ staed Bell in a reply to MILMAG.

The American company further added that ‘Bell remains ready to support and provide capabilities internationally to nations who have active Letters of Request (LOR’s) submitted through the United States Government for helicopter fleet modernization programs’.
