The GLADIUS 2 unmanned strike system, unveiled for the first time at MSPO 2026, received the Special Award of the Minister of National Defence. The award was accepted on behalf of WB Group by Łukasz Gomółka, President of Flytronic, from Minister Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka.

GLADIUS 2 features a distinctive tailless flying-wing configuration without a separate fuselage, combined with reduced radar and thermal signatures. The unmanned aircraft is an entirely Polish design. All key components – from the composite airframe and onboard electronics to the turbojet engine – are manufactured domestically.
GLADIUS 2 has a modular design that allows the system to be scaled. In the configuration presented at MSPO, it can carry interchangeable 30 kg warheads over tactical-operational distances, at speeds exceeding several hundred kilometers per hour. It is launched from a container or ground-based launcher using a rocket-assisted takeoff booster.
The GLADIUS 2 unmanned aircraft is part of WB Group’s continuously expanding multi-domain unmanned ecosystem. At the same time, it remains fully compatible with solutions already fielded by the Polish Armed Forces. The effector is integrated with the GLADIUS reconnaissance-strike system and the TOPAZ battle management system, allowing it to operate within the existing reconnaissance, command, and strike chain.
Special Award of the Minister of Finance and Economy
WB Group received the Special Award of the Minister of Finance and Economy for the best Polish arms exporter. The award was accepted on behalf of the group by Marcin Kubica, Managing Director of WB Group.
WB Group systems are in service in dozens of countries around the world. Foreign customers have received tens of thousands of FONET communication platform sets, integrated TOPAZ battle management systems, best-in-class FlyEye unmanned systems, Warmate-family loitering munitions, tactical radios, and other solutions (WB Group to supply TOPAZ battle management system for Croatian Chunmoo launchers).
Defender 2026
The StormRider 850 unmanned reconnaissance and strike surface vessel received a Defender 2026 award in Kielce this year. The statuette was accepted on behalf of WB Group by Bartłomiej Zając, President of Radmor.
StormRider 850 is a platform designed to operate at sea and in coastal waters, both independently and alongside manned surface vessels. The craft is equipped with a navigation radar, sonar, echo sounder, and electro-optical sensor turret. The platform can be armed with the ZMU-05N naval remote weapon station and launchers for Warmate TL unmanned systems.

Polish Navy. A similar scenario was demonstrated in 2026 during the NATO Summit in Ankara. StormRider 850 operated alongside the frigate ORP Gen. T. Kościuszko, demonstrating cooperation between innovative unmanned platforms and conventional naval forces (WB Group showcases StormRider maritime drone at NATO Task Force X demonstration).
StormRider-family vessels, together with the 550 model unveiled at MSPO, form the maritime component of WB Group’s multi-domain unmanned revolution. The platform combines reconnaissance and strike capabilities, expanding the ability to conduct operations across a wide range of maritime environments.
TOP DESIGN

This year’s collection of awards for WB Group would not have been complete without the TOP DESIGN award. Once again, the Polish group’s pavilion ranked among the most impressive at MSPO and received widespread praise from participants. The award for the best exhibition stand was jointly accepted by Marta Łażewska, Marketing Director at WB Group, and Patrycja Evruk.
This year’s exhibition was divided into four domains: maritime, land, air, and cognitive. Each was given its own dedicated space, helping organize the systems on display and show their place within WB Group’s multi-domain architecture.
Interactive installations formed an integral part of the pavilion. Wolves – the symbol of WB Group – projected onto a wall responded to visitors’ movements, while an interactive floor simulated threat detection by the AMSTA perimeter protection system. The pavilion’s exterior wall featured light installations inspired by border infrastructure, linking the exhibition to the East Shield concept. The entire presentation was tied together by the slogan Technological Sovereignty. Poland’s Security, which defined the theme of WB Group’s presence at this year’s MSPO.
